We can always use help setting up and tearing down!

This is a sanctioned Rimfire Challenge Shooting Association event!

.22 Rimfire Steel is an introduction to competitive shooting for speed. You can use any semi-auto pistol and rifle chambered in .22LR. When you come to the line you will have 5-7 static steel targets to shoot at. A coach will explain what targets you are shooting and give you the commands to make ready and to fire. Shoot all targets as fast as you can. When you hit the last target (a.k.a. “stop plate”) time stops. You get 4 chances to shoot each stage with each firearm. Your worst time is tossed out and the rest are combined to make your score. Each course of fire is shot with rifle and pistol at appropriate distance.

That's all there is to it. No reloading, no holster draws, no move and shoot - just fast and fun! Come on out and give it a try. This is a family friendly event so bring the whole family and your friends. Minors must be 12yrs. or older to shoot.

Minimum Equipment: You will need eye and hearing protection, hats are recommended, 22 semi-auto pistol, pistol case, 5ea. 10 round magazines for it, if possible, 22 semi-auto rifle, 5ea. 10 round magazines for it, if possible, chamber flags (will have available ) and a minimum of 250 rounds of ammunition, and plenty of water.

All shooters will have a safety briefing before shooting begins. Juniors must be 12 to 17 years old and accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All juniors need to have had prior shooting experience and be able to follow a series of range commands while maintaining safe gun handling.

Fee: MSC Members pay $5.00. Non-Members pay $10.00.

*At the conclusion of the event, anyone wishing to remain and shoot are required to sign-in at the Range Office and Non-members will have to pay the $15.00 daily use fee.

We encourage new and young shooters to come out and give this match a try!
