Trap/Skeet/5-Stand



Shoots are Every Sunday & Wednesday from 7AM (Summer) and 8AM (Winter) until shooters are finished.

The Mohave Sportsman Club Clay Target Center has 5 Trap fields, 2 Skeet fields, and also has a 5 station sporting clay course.

TRAP - HOW THE GAME IS PLAYED:
THERE ARE 5 STATIONS TO SHOOT FROM.
Singles: Each round consists of 25 targets shot from 5 different stations, 5 targets per station. You shoot from 16 yards.

Handicap: Each round consists of 25 targets shot from 5 different stations, 5 targets per station. You shoot your targets from 18 to 27 yards, depending on your handicap.

Doubles: Each round consists of 25 pairs targets shot from 5 different stations, 10 targets per station. You shoot from 16 yards.
You shoot 5 targets per station in singles and handicap and 10 targets per station for doubles. The shooters are standing at the 16 yard line and will be moved back in handicap along the walkway behind shooters all the way back to the 27 yard line, depending on the shooters ability.

The target is released on the command of "pull" from the shooter and will travel at various angles for about 48 to 52 yard shots at about 41 to 43 mph. The shooter must break the targets before it hits the ground. You are allowed only one shot in singles and handicaps and of course, two shots in doubles.

Minimum Equipment:
Eye & Ear protection is required.
Type of Shotgun: Almost any shotgun (single, semiauto, over/under)
Shot size #7 ½ through #9

Fees:
Trap & Skeet Regular, Events & Matches: $5.00 for members and $7.00 for non-members for 25 targets

Sporting Clays: different prices per target, approx. $4.00 per target
Junior fees are $3.00 per round.

All cards are member only and all card readers are $.20 per target or $5.00 per 25 targets.

Purchase shot cards at range office (credit cards can be processed only at this office)
These Shoot Cards can be used at the Clay Target Center any time the range is open.
