Mohave Green Shooters (MGS) USPSA Match is held the second Saturday of each month.
Range Sign-in & Match Registration: Summer hours  8:00 am.  Winter hours 9:00 am
Match Starts: Summer hours 8:30 am. Winter hours 9:30 am.
Match is held on Bays 1-5.

 

Setup for this match is held monthly on the second Friday of the month from 1:30pm-4:30pm

This is an all day event.

A safety briefing is *mandatory* to participate in the event. Your participation; being a RO, scoring, taping & resetting targets and/or other tasks, will be appreciated & needed to keep the event flowing efficiently.

There will be 4 stages and one "Classifier" stage. Paper targets are normally shot twice and steel targets are knocked down. Round count varies depending on the stages, with an average of 32 rounds per stage, 16 rounds for classifier.
You will be shooting from various positions and on the move.
There are divisions for age, women and firearms used.
All shooters will have a stage walk through before shooting begins.
USPSA membership is encouraged, so as to obtain and track your progress and classification.

Minimum Equipment: Ear and eye protection as well as enclosed footwear are mandatory (no sandals). Pistol or Revolver with a 6" or less barrel. 9mm through 45. No magnum loads. Iron sights, fiber optic , or carry optic / Red Dot are okay. Gun holster & belt with magazine holders. Outside the waist band holsters positioned at strong side hip must be used. Kydex type holster designs are recommended. 3 to 5 magazines or speed loaders/moon clips.
Maximum magazine length is 170mm (28 rnds) We recommend bringing a minimum of 150 rounds.
Pistol Caliber Carbines (PCC) are welcomed. PCC must remain bagged and flagged until range officer (RO) issues a "MAKE READY" directive. There is no PCC magazine length or capacity restrictions.

Scoring: Scoring is "Hit Factor" calculation based on a combination of time and accuracy. Your score will be calculated on a tablet using the PractiScore Application.

Fees: MGS Members $15.00, Non MGS Members $20.00, Juniors (12 to 17) Free with paid member parent. Ladies shoot FREE.
